Add-On Packs

Add-on packs let you top up your monthly allowances without changing your plan. They are useful when you run out of article generations or custom style tokens partway through a billing period and want to keep working right away.

There are two kinds of pack, each topping up a different allowance:

• Article Pack — adds extra article generations.
• Custom Style Token Pack — adds extra tokens for generating custom image styles.

Both are one-time purchases (not subscriptions). You pay once at checkout, and the credits are added to your account immediately after payment. For how the underlying allowances work, see Usage Quotas.

Article Pack (10 articles per pack, 1–10 packs)

An Article Pack adds 10 article generations to your current billing period.

When you start a purchase, Stripe Checkout opens with the quantity field enabled, so you can buy several packs in one transaction:

Once payment completes, the extra articles are added to your article allowance for the current period. You'll then be able to generate again immediately, up to the new combined total.

You can buy an Article Pack at any time: the Purchase Article Pack button is always available in the Settings > Usage card. It becomes more prominent (and is paired with a warning banner) when your article allowance is running low or has been used up.

Custom Style Token Pack (20 tokens per pack, 1–5 packs)

A Custom Style Token Pack adds 20 custom style tokens to your current billing period. Tokens are the unit consumed when you generate and refine custom image styles — see Image Styles & Custom Styles for how tokens are spent.

In the app, this pack is presented in terms of generations rather than raw tokens: the purchase button is labeled Buy Style Pack (5 generations / $15). The two units line up because 20 tokens equals roughly 5 generations (about 4 tokens per generation). Tokens are spent per candidate image — each candidate you generate in a run consumes one token — so the exact number of generations a pack covers depends on how many candidate images you request each time.

After payment, the tokens are added on top of your plan's included style-token allowance for the current period. Your effective limit becomes your plan allowance plus the purchased tokens.

Custom style tokens require a plan that includes them. On the free and Text plans the style-token allowance is zero, so style generation isn't available there. See Plan Details for which plans include custom styles.

How to Purchase

Add-on packs are bought through Stripe Checkout, started from inside the app. You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe payment page and returned to the app afterward.

Buy an Article Pack

1. Open Settings and go to the Usage section (the usage overview).
2. Find the article usage card. The Purchase Article Pack button is always there; when your articles are running low or exhausted, it becomes more prominent and is shown alongside a warning banner.
3. Click it to open Stripe Checkout.
4. In the quantity field, choose how many packs to buy (1 to 10), then complete payment.
5. You'll be redirected back to Settings, where a confirmation message appears once the purchase succeeds.

Buy a Custom Style Token Pack

1. Open Settings > Generation Settings > Image Styles.
2. When your style tokens are used up, a Buy Style Pack button (and an exhausted-quota banner) appears.
3. Click it to open Stripe Checkout.
4. In the quantity field, choose how many packs to buy (1 to 5), then complete payment.
5. You'll be redirected back to the Image Styles page, where a confirmation message appears once the purchase succeeds.

If you start a purchase and then cancel on the Stripe page, no charge is made and you'll return to the app with a "purchase cancelled" notice. Current prices are shown on the Stripe Checkout page in your currency (prices show in JPY for Japanese, USD otherwise).

Consumption Rules (within the billing period, no rollover, no refunds)

Add-on credits behave as a top-up to your current billing period. A few rules to keep in mind:

• Period-bound. Purchased articles and tokens are added to the current billing period's allowance, on top of what your plan already includes.
• No rollover. Unused add-on credits do not carry over to the next period. When a new billing period starts, usage resets and the extra credits from a previous period are gone. Buy a pack when you actually need the headroom, not in advance for future months.
• No refunds. Add-on packs are one-time purchases and are non-refundable, including for credits you don't end up using before the period ends.
• Stacking. You can buy multiple packs (within the per-purchase limits) and make additional purchases later in the same period; each completed purchase adds to your current total.
